On the A38 Plymouth Expressway from Exeter, follow all signs for Plymouth.

Then take the A384 signposted for Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe.

On reaching Totnes, you will pass under an orange metal walkway bridge, get into the right hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights onto A381 signposted for Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.

Follow the Kingsbridge signs until you reach Halwell, where you turn left signposted to Dartmouth.

200yds after reaching Dartmouth Golf and Country Club you will find a right hand turn, sign posted Strete, Slapton and Torcross.

Proceed along this road until you reach the village of Strete. The Church, and the ‘Laughing Monk Restaurant’ are both on your left, and then Strete Barton House will be found on the corner of the next junction.
