Blackpool Sands (20 minutes walk). Blackpool Sands, set in a sheltered bay surrounded by evergreens and pines, is one of South Devon's most beautiful natural treasures. An award-winning privately managed family beach with turquoise blue sea giving it an almost Mediterranean feel.
Slapton Ley and Slapton Beach (20 minutes walk). Long stretch of beach and the largest freshwater lake in South West England.
South West Coast Path (30 metres away). There are a number of stunning and dramatic walks including, Strete to Little Dartmouth, East Prawle and Start Point.
River Link, Dartmouth Combine a cruise up the River Dart from Dartmouth to Totnes with a trip on a steam train from Kingswear to Paignton.
The Picnic Boat Cruise up the River Dart on board the picnic boat. You can hire the boat for a romantic cruise or have others join you for a party.
Coleton Fishacre Kingswear (15 minute drive) National Trust property; a luxuriant garden by the sea, with an Arts & Crafts-style house, featuring Art Deco-influenced interiors.
