Strete Barton House is ideally situated between the stunning cove at Blackpool Sands, and Torcross Village with its beach and the Slapton Ley Nature Reserve, however it is still only 5 miles from the multi-cultural river town of Dartmouth. The sailing village of Salcombe is only 15 miles away, whilst Kingsbridge, the principal town in the South Hams, is only 12 miles to the west. We are fortunate to have two places to eat, both within a minute’s walk; The Laughing Monk Restaurant”, awarded Taste of the West Gold Award, and The King’s Arms Pub (currently closed awaiting new tenants – opening date tbc).
